The MindReset editorial policy explains how MindReset.org researches, writes, reviews, updates, and corrects buyer guides, product comparisons, research-based reviews, alternatives, and educational content.
Our editorial goal is practical: help readers understand what a product is designed to do, who it may suit, what it costs, what could not be independently verified, and when it may be better to skip the purchase.
MindReset is not a medical provider, testing laboratory, or clinical research organisation. Our content is for general informational and buyer-guidance purposes and should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Who publishes MindReset content?
Content is published by the MindReset Editorial Desk. This editorial identity is used across articles, structured data, updates, corrections, and website trust pages.
The Editorial Desk is responsible for selecting topics, reviewing available evidence and product documentation, comparing buying options, applying claim-safety standards, and deciding whether a product is appropriate for the MindReset audience.
How we classify our content
MindReset uses clear content types so readers can understand what kind of assessment they are reading.
- Affiliate Review: a commercial product review that may contain commission-earning links.
- Research-Based Review: a product review based on public documentation, specifications, available research, user feedback, and comparison with similar products when we have not personally tested the product.
- Product Comparison: a comparison focused on differences in use case, features, pricing, subscriptions, limitations, and buyer fit.
- Buyer Guide: a decision page designed to help readers choose between product types or identify what may be better to skip.
- Educational Guide: explanatory content that does not make a direct product recommendation its primary purpose.
- Support or Trust Page: information about MindReset, its editorial process, privacy practices, disclosures, and website policies.
Research-based reviews and hands-on testing
MindReset does not claim hands-on testing unless a product was genuinely obtained and used by the editorial team under conditions that can be described honestly.
When a product has not been personally tested, the page should be identified as a Research-Based Review, Product Comparison, or Buyer Guide rather than a hands-on review.
Where relevant, we use the following disclosure:
Research note: We have not personally tested this product yet. This guide is based on product specifications, public documentation, available research, user feedback, and comparison with similar tools.
We do not use phrases such as “we tested,” “our testing showed,” “after using it,” or “hands-on review” unless those statements are factually supported.
What sources do we use?
The sources used depend on the product and the claims being assessed. They may include:
- Official product pages, manuals, technical specifications, warranty terms, pricing pages, and subscription information.
- Public documentation from manufacturers, retailers, affiliate platforms, and app providers.
- Peer-reviewed research, regulatory information, professional guidance, or recognised reference sources when relevant to a specific claim.
- Independent reporting, technical analysis, and reputable third-party comparisons.
- User feedback from retailer pages, forums, app stores, review platforms, and community discussions.
User feedback is used to identify recurring themes such as comfort problems, app complaints, durability concerns, customer-service issues, or unexpected subscription costs. It is not treated as clinical evidence, a controlled study, or a formal meta-analysis.
How we assess products
Commercial pages are assessed primarily as buyer decisions rather than as promotional product summaries.
Depending on the product, we may consider:
- The intended use case and the buyer problem the product is designed to address.
- Product specifications and how they compare with competing options.
- Purchase price, subscription fees, replacement parts, accessories, shipping, and other hidden costs.
- Return policy, warranty, regional availability, and customer-support information.
- Comfort, usability, maintenance, portability, app requirements, and practical limitations.
- The strength and relevance of available evidence for health, sleep, recovery, or performance claims.
- Who may benefit from the product and who may be better served by an alternative or by not buying.
- What we could verify and what remained uncertain.
What we could not verify
Public specifications and short-term user reports cannot reliably establish every part of the ownership experience. Where relevant, MindReset identifies limitations such as:
What we could not verify: long-term comfort, app stability, battery degradation, customer support quality, and real-world durability over months of daily use.
Other uncertainties may include regional warranty enforcement, long-term subscription pricing, product revisions, shipping performance, or whether a product produces meaningful results for an individual user.
Health and wellness claims
MindReset avoids unsupported medical claims. We do not describe consumer products as curing, treating, healing, or fixing anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma, ADHD, chronic stress, or the nervous system unless the wording is clearly supported by strong official evidence and is appropriate for the context.
We prefer cautious descriptions such as “may support,” “designed to support relaxation,” “may help some users,” “stress-awareness tool,” “sleep-routine support,” or “recovery routine.”
Scientific research about a mechanism, ingredient, wavelength, breathing technique, or physiological response does not automatically prove that a specific commercial product will deliver the same result.
Pages involving sleep, stress, light therapy, heat, cold exposure, breathing tools, supplements, wearables, or recovery products may include a health and safety disclaimer. Readers with medical conditions, symptoms, implanted devices, pregnancy, medication concerns, or other health risks should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
Affiliate links and editorial independence
MindReset may earn a commission when readers purchase through affiliate links. This does not increase the reader’s price and does not guarantee a favourable recommendation.
Affiliate availability, commission rate, promotional code, or brand relationship may affect which purchase links are available, but they should not override the editorial conclusion about buyer fit, limitations, hidden costs, or whether the product is worth skipping.
Commercial pages should display an affiliate disclosure before the first affiliate link or purchase button. Amazon links also require the applicable Amazon Associate disclosure.
Read the full Affiliate Disclosure.
Free products, sponsored content, and brand input
If MindReset receives a free product, paid placement, sponsored content fee, or another material benefit, that relationship should be disclosed clearly.
Brands may provide specifications, documentation, images, corrections, product access, or clarification. They do not receive the right to dictate the final verdict or remove legitimate criticism.
A brand may be given an opportunity to correct a factual error, but editorial conclusions remain with MindReset.
Use of artificial intelligence
MindReset may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with research organisation, document analysis, outlining, editing, data classification, or identifying areas that require further verification.
AI-generated output is treated as draft material, not as an authoritative source. It may contain invented facts, outdated product information, incorrect legal interpretations, exaggerated scientific claims, or unsupported medical language.
Important claims should be checked against appropriate public documentation or source material before publication. Final editorial responsibility remains with the MindReset Editorial Desk.
Corrections and factual updates
Products, prices, subscriptions, warranty terms, availability, specifications, and research can change. MindReset may update pages when new information becomes available or when an error is identified.
Corrections may include changing inaccurate specifications, replacing broken links, updating discontinued products, revising unsafe claims, clarifying research limitations, or changing a recommendation when the buying decision has materially changed.
Minor spelling, formatting, link, or readability changes may be made without a separate correction notice. Material factual corrections may be explained on the page where appropriate.
To report an error, use the Contact MindReset page and include the page URL, the statement in question, and any supporting documentation.
Content reviews and update timing
MindReset prioritises updates based on buyer impact, factual risk, product changes, search visibility, affiliate-link reliability, and the sensitivity of the subject.
There is no guarantee that every page is reviewed on a fixed schedule. High-risk health claims, incorrect commercial information, broken purchase links, discontinued products, and material pricing or subscription changes receive higher priority.
Older pages are being progressively updated to meet the current MindReset editorial standard. Some legacy pages may not yet include every disclosure, verification block, decision table, or buyer-fit section described in this policy.
Reader responsibility
MindReset provides research-based information and buyer guidance, not personalised professional advice. Readers should confirm current pricing, availability, specifications, warranty terms, subscriptions, safety information, and return conditions directly with the seller before purchasing.
Individual experiences vary. A product that is suitable for one person may be uncomfortable, ineffective, unnecessary, or unsafe for another.
